Best of APLF Awards

Best of APLF Awards is an initiative to cultivate and nurture talent and creativity in leather & fashion-related industries.

  

The project recognizes design excellence, originality, innovation, use of materials and outstanding workmanship of products exhibited at both APLF-organised events, APLF – MM&T and Fashion Access.

Eight Fashion Access exhibitors and five APLF – MM&T exhibitors were honored the award at the Best of APLF Awards Presentation Ceremony on 29 March 2010 during the APLF VIP Cocktail.

BEST FASHION LEATHER

BEST INNOVATION IN LEATHER

For its innovations in release papers technology that has broadened the range of prints, textures, finishes and functions that can be transferred onto any imaginable surface, including leather.

Spain

For its top quality shoe soles that features a special finishing process that gives the bottom of their shoe soles a distinct, clean look. 
 

BEST ECOLOGICAL PRODUCT

   
  TATA International
India

For their leathers developed particularly for shoe production, stemming from a partnership between the tannery and the shoe manufacturer, that brings to a minimum the chemical processes involved in shoe making.
